Maynard Jenner, 63, died September 17, 2015, at a Bismarck hospital. A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM at Parkway Funeral Service in Bismarck with Rev. Lee Herberg officiating. Burial will be at the ND Veterans Cemetery. Maynard was born on July 3, 1952, in Bismarck, ND, the son of Tyruss and Helen (Miller) Jenner. He was raised and attended school in Bismarck where he graduated from high school. He then joined the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged in January 1973. Maynard worked at Mid America Steel in Bismarck for twenty years as a welder. He was a longtime member of the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and socializing with his friends and family. Maynard is survived by his daughters, Lonnie Jenner (Wade Hansen) of Mandan, ND, Lisa Kroh of Bismarck, Leanne (Bill) Toepke of Mandan, and Shantel Kramer of Glen Ullin, ND; four grandsons; three granddaughters; his mother, Helen Vanous of Mandan; his sister, Arlys Jenner of Tuttle, ND; his step-brothers, Tracy (Cindy) Vanous of Bismarck and Laurie (Phyliss) Vanous of Ft. Laramie, WY; his step-sister, Mercedes (Roger) Clark of Bismarck; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Tyruss Jenner; his step-father, Elwyn Vanous; his sister, Sharon Merkel; and his step-brothers, Craig and Naylor Vanous.
