Cleo Asbridge, 88, Bismarck, died August 31, 2015, at Sanford Health, Bismarck. Services will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, September 4, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, with Rev. Trish Lenihan officiating. Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm Friday at Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck.Cleo Asbridge was born December 22, 1926 at Baldwin, ND, the daughter of John and Louise (Meyer) Lenihan. She was raised in Baldwin and educated through the 8th grade, and graduated from Bismarck High School. Cleo was employed with Armours Creamery, which was located on 12th and Front Street.Cleo married Ruehl Asbridge on January 15, 1947, in Bismarck. Soon after their marriage, Cleo and Ruehl returned to Ruehl's family farm, where they farmed and ranched. Ruehl died August 7, 1993. Cleo remained on the farm and helped in all aspects of farming with her son Doug, even at age 82; still fencing. She moved to Bismarck in 2000 and was still active on the farm when she could.She loved dancing and painting, was extremely hard working, and enjoyed family functions and especially being with her grandchildren.She was survived by her daughters, Debbie Sanders, Darcie Asbridge; sister, Wanda (Clarence) Fischer; daughter-in-law, Jeanine Asbridge; sister-in-law, Betty Lenihan; grandchildren, Bobby (Christy), Chris (Machelle), Brett (Ashley), and Jamison; great-grandchildren, Jaylee, Skyla, Marley, Brett Ruehl, and Jadyn; step-granddaughters, Allison (Joe), Angie (Chris), Jill, Candi (Bryan); step-great grandchildren, Ashley, Kelly, Madison, Taylor, Gianna, Lexi, Logan, Shea, Hunter, Oliver, Thomas, Jordan, Deanna and Christopher; step-great-great grandchildren, Faith , Wyatt, and Jax; and granddog, Domino. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Louise; husband, Ruehl; son, Doug; brother, Merton; grandson, Mathew; and granddaughter, Kylo.
