James Krueger

James "Jim" Krueger of McKenzie died at his home on Aug. 12, 2015. A funeral service will be held Sunday, August 16, at 2:00 pm at the Bismarck Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1109 N. 26th St., Bismarck, with Rev. Donavon Kack officiating. All are invited to join the family for a light lunch following the funeral service. Burial will be held at 10:00 am Monday, August 17, at Pleasantview Cemetery, McKenzie. Visitation will be held from 4:30 – 6:00 pm Saturday, August 15, at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E. Divide Ave, Bismarck. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.He was born Oct. 12, 1936 in McClusky. He grew up and attended school in Carrington and Harvey. After one year of college, he returned home and began his farming career at Carrington, Steele, and lastly at McKenzie. He worked hard to improve his herd, the land, and his children. Later in life several strokes made his life difficult. During this time his interest turned more to spiritual things, the truths of the Bible, and his grandchildren.He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Judy; 3 sons, Walter, McKenzie; James (Connie), Portland, OR; Jay (Beathe), Sweden; one daughter, Jayna (Donovan), Richardton; three brothers and one sister, seven grandsons, and two granddaughters.
