Gladys E. Hall of Riverton, Wyoming died Tuesday, October 27th, 2015 in Bismarck, North Dakota. Gladys was born April 4th, 1921 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the daughter of George and Carrie Tubridy. Gladys graduated from Natrona County High School with the class of 1940. She was a 50 year member of Eastern Star and baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She was a member of the Grace English Lutheran Church of Casper, Wyoming.
On April 12th, 1942 she married Archie “Scotty” Morrison in Salem, Oregon, they were later divorced. September 16th, 1950 she married Wallace “Wally” Hall in Riverton, Wyoming. She worked for Walgreens Drug in Casper, Reid Pharmacy in Worland, Wyoming and A&A Temple Drug in Riverton.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, her sister Eileen Pickering, her daughter Patricia and her friend and companion Jerry Havens.
Survivors include her grandson Joseph Russ “J.R.” Havens Jr. of Bismarck, her brother George “Jack” Tubridy and his wife Joan of Casper and several nieces and nephews.
She had many passions. First and foremost was her family. Others included photography, gardening, short road trips, socializing and garage sales.
She lived Riverton for more than 45 years where she created and maintained so many great friends with her outgoing and loving personality.
The last six years she spent time at Homestead in Riverton and the Good Samaritan Society of Bismarck. While in Bismarck, she was able to spend more than three years of quality time with her grandson J.R. They would play BINGO, go for drives, make weekly visits to the hair salon, talk and laugh. She loved him dearly and they were always very close.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Central Wyoming Hospice Home in Casper or Wyoming Independent Rehabilitation also in Casper.
A memorial service will be held at 10am Tuesday at Davis Funeral Home in Riverton. Family will escort her to Casper where graveside services will be held at Wyoming Memorial Gardens.
