Mabel Sievert, 83, Bismarck, died November 1, 2015. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, November 6, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 904 8th Avenue SE, Mandan, with Rev. Ryan Wolfe officiating.
Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.
Visitation will be held from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm Thursday, at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E Divide Avenue, Bismarck. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Mabel Arlene Brown was born September 17, 1932, in Selby, SD, and was baptized September 22, 1940. Mabel grew up in Selby and graduated from Selby High School in 1950. Following graduation she worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company as an operator.
In 1956 she married Arthur Sievert and together they raised three children, Peggy, Mark, and William.
Mabel is survived by her husband, Arthur, Bismarck; her three children, Peggy, Overland Park, KS, Mark, Naples, FL, and William (Valerie), Bismarck; ten grandchildren, Rebekka, Matthew (Amy), James, Elizabeth, Carol (Ryley), Rachel, Anna, Amy (Chad), Jordan, and Thomas; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Helen Brown and Gladys Pudwill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to CHI St. Alexius Health Hospice.
