Rose Rohr

Rose Rohr, 95, Bismarck, died November 28, 2015 at St. Vincent’s Care Center surrounded by her family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Church of St. Anne in Bismarck with Rev. Ed Wehner officiating. Burial will be at the ND Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Eastgate Funeral Service in Bismarck where a rosary/vigil service will begin at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the church. Rose was born March 17, 1920, on a farm near Regent, ND. She was raised on the farm and attended country school. Rose married Edgar L Rohr on June 28, 1949. They spent the majority of their married life on their dairy farm near Elgin, ND. In 1986 they retired to Dickinson, ND, and in 2001 moved to Bismarck, ND. Rose is survived by her children, Edgar J. (Marge) Rohr, Madonna (Jim) Busch, and JoAnn (Vern) Dobis; her grandchildren, Jamieson (Lauren) Rohr, Joseph Rohr, Becca (fiancé Ken) Busch, Greg (Lesli) Busch, Elizabeth Dobis, and Jennifer Dobis; and her great-grandchild, Harrison Rohr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar L. Rohr. Her family is sure she is enjoying a lively game of pinochle and dancing the waltz in heaven.
