Greg Christenson, 73, Bismarck, died November 26, 2015, at his home.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 am Friday, December 4, at House of Prayer Lutheran Church, Bismarck, with Rev. Joel Samuelson officiating.
Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.
There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place.
Greg was born March 2, 1942, to Howard and Lois (Floyd) Christenson. He was raised in Grand Forks where he attended school and graduated with the class of 1961. Greg went to the North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, ND, where he earned his teaching diploma on May 24, 1964. He taught vocational school in Bismarck and then joined Sheet Metal Local #10 where he worked until he retired.
He enjoyed fishing and camping and spending time with his grandsons and family. He was his girls’ biggest fan and supported and cherished everything they did throughout their lives.
Greg is survived by his wife, Shirley; his daughter, Heather and Adam Van Erem and grandson, Ryker; his daughter, Kerry and Gerald Pinks and grandson, Rylan; his stepson, Mark and Jen Murray and grandson, Ty; one sister, Kay and Eddie Kettner, Wausau, WI; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carol and Mike Heyd, Bismarck; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dennis and Vergenne Just, Billings, MT; brother-in-law, Keane Just, Bismarck; his mother-in-law, Velma Just, Bismarck; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Lois Christenson; and his father-in-law, Andrew Just.
