Josh Travis Wothe, 36, Bismarck, ND; died December 2, 2015. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 6 at First Lutheran Church, Bismarck, ND, with Reverend Allen Wagner officiating. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place.
Josh was born April 30, 1979 in Dickinson, ND, the son of James Ray Wothe and Denise (Peterson) Wothe. He attended elementary school in Dickinson, ND; junior high school in Kodiak, AK and attended high school in Mandan, ND. Josh attended Job Corps at Anaconda, Montana, studying heavy equipment operation, welding, semi-truck driving and was very proud of the time he spent working in the field of Forest Fire Suppression. When he graduated from Job Corp he began working for Jobbers Moving and Storage. Josh became an owner operator and traveled all over the United States delivering household furniture. He was very proud of achieving Master Mover status.
Josh loved his nieces and nephew, and spent a lot of time with them. He loved spoiling them and was extremely generous with gifts and time. He was very kind-hearted and made himself available to help family and friends when needed. Josh also enjoyed spending time with his faithful Beagle, Sacha. He was very proud of being able to finally quit smoking and utilized his free time to learn new hobbies such as making soaps, baking from scratch and tinkering with various projects.
Josh is survived by his mother Denise (Wothe) Peterson (Dennis Schumacher), his sister Dawn Sveund (Chris), his brother Shane Wothe (Nikki) and his nieces Colleen, Isabella and Valerie and his nephew Samuel. He is also survived by his Uncle Keith Peterson (Vicki), Aunt Veloy Bruce (Ron), Aunt Lynda Schwartz (Gary) many cousins and his friends and Jobbers family.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Wothe, grandparents Ray and Ragna Wothe, Orlando and Joyce Peterson, and beloved Great Uncle Harold.
