Rebecca Beglau

On January 9, 2016 our Lord and Savior received Rebecca (Gums) Beglau into His heavenly home. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 16, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Bismarck, with Rev. Steve Sathre officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck. She was born January 5, 1922 in Streeter, ND, to Gottlieb and Katherine (Becker) Gums. She married Herbert Beglau on April 19, 1941 in Tacoma, Washington. Rebecca was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church for over 60 years. She is survived by one brother, Arthur Gums (Carol); her four daughters, Judith J Walker and her son Todd (Mary) and their two daughters, Charlee and Bailee; Jenny Frohlech; Diane Birkholz (John) and son Steven (Laura) and two children, Sophia and Brad; Linda Delzer (Dennis) and their children Charmaine Delzer, Kamala Shafer (Steve) and children Reese Rebecca and Rhianna, Jeb Delzer (Jennifer) and their children Macie, Kyler, Kaylin, Alexander and Alexandria. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert; son, Dennis; son-in-law, James Walker; granddaughter, Theresa Walker; grandson, Brad Birkholz; great-granddaughter; Lillian Delzer; her parents; and 10 siblings.
