Jerry Charles Zillier, 71, Bismarck, passed away February 5, 2016, at CHI St. Alexius Health.
A memorial services will be held on Monday at 12:00 Noon at St. George’s Episcopal Church in Bismarck with Rev. Jim Zotalis officiating. Burial will be at the Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.
Jerry was born November 23, 1944, to Carl and Theresa (Kjelson) Zillier in Sheboygan, WI. He was raised in Kohler, WI. Jerry served four years in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He married Shirel Brasch on June 11, 1966. He worked for the Kohler Company for 28 years, working in Kohler, WI, Philadelphia, PA, and Bismarck, ND.
He was avid collector of vintage cameras and pocket watches. He enjoyed camping, hunting, photography, and computers.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Shirel, Bismarck; three daughters, Shelley (Mark) Ness, Baldwin, Elizabeth Zillier, Bismarck, and Vicki (Tom) Loepke, Phoenix, AZ; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy Yurk (special friend Beverly Evans), and Roberta (Don) Rathbun; two brothers, Carl (Shirely) Zillier and his twin brother, Steve (Jwin) Zillier; and one step-brother, Martin (Lockey) Kjelson III; two brothers-in-law, Jerry (LaNae) Brasch and Jimmy (Helen) Brasch; and many nieces and nephews.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; and his aunts and uncles, Virgina (Eric) Tank, Charlotte (Ralph) Zahnow, and Aunt Elizabeth.
