Lawrence "Larry" Paul

Lawrence “Larry” Paul, 70, Bismarck, died March 16, 2016, at CHI St. Alexius Health in Bismarck. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 AM at Church of St. Mary in Bismarck with Rev. Msgr. Gene Lindemann officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery. A vigil service will be held on Monday at 7:00 PM at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. Larry was born on August 5, 1945, in Linton, ND, to Bernhard and Gertrude (Bachmeier) Paul. He grew up in Emmons County west of Strasburg, and graduated from Strasburg High School in 1965. He married Linda Mosset at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Linton, ND, on October 22, 1966. They farmed southwest of Linton. In 1980, they moved to Bismarck where they made their home and he retired from Praxair. Larry’s favorite way to spend his time was with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He loved to fish, hunt, and spend time with his family and friends. Larry is survived by his wife, Linda of Bismarck; two daughters, Lori (Tory) Martin of Harvey, ND, and Lynette (Troy) Mueller of Bismarck; one son, Eric (Marney) Paul of Bismarck; three sisters, Marilyn (Victor) Thayer of Hillsboro, OR, Ellen (Mike) Nagel of Linton, and Diane (Vince) Swenson of Bismarck; six grandchildren, Chardonnay Ternes, Rylee Martin, Madison and Kennedy Mueller, Mya and Mallory Paul; one sister-in-law, Marge Paul; his mother-in-law, Anna Marie Mosset; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister, Carolyn; one brother, Wilhard “Bill” Paul; and his father-in-law, Wendelin Mosset.
