Steve Grubb, 63, Bismarck, went home to be with the Lord on March 21, 2016, at home surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 3:30 pm Friday, March 25, at Charity Lutheran Church, Bismarck, with Rev. Scott Bauman officiating. Burial will be held at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. Steve will be deeply missed by Bonnie, his loving wife of 34 years; his two daughters, Heather (Keala) Hoe, Walla Walla, WA, and Casey (Tom) Blunt, Bismarck; his son, Tyler, Bismarck; his seven grandchildren; Jonah, Sam, Faith, Lauren, Gage, Noah, and Ally; his father, Al Grubb; his three brothers, Al Jr. (Marion), Mt. Sterling, OH, Andre, Bismarck, and Corey (Dana), Eagle River, AK; two sisters, Gayle (Phil) Jarman, Peaver, SD, and Kris (Joe) Morrissette, Bismarck; many nieces and nephews; and his feisty min-pin, Gizmoe. Steve was preceded in death by his grandmother, Viola Winmill; his mother, Shirley Grubb; and his nephew, Joshua Morrissette.
