Nancy M. Doll, 67, Bismarck, passed away April 4, 2016.
Services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, April 7, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, with Deacon Doug Helbing officiating.
Burial will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Wednesday, April 6, at Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck, where a prayer service will begin at 7:00 pm.
Nancy was born July 30, 1948, to Homer and Ina (Homelvig) Monroe, in Bismarck, where she was raised. Following graduation she enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. During her service in the Marines, Nancy married Paul Herzing and together they had two daughters, Shelley and Kelly. On April 7, 1978, she married Raymond Doll and together they made Bismarck their home.
Throughout her career Nancy worked at various county and state agencies. In her free time she loved to cross-stitch, play bingo, and take trips to the casino.
Nancy will be deeply missed by her daughters, Shelley and Kelly Herzing, Bismarck; her loving sister, Joyce Schafer, Bismarck; brothers-in-law, Jim, CA, and Dan (Cheri) Doll, Bismarck; sisters-in-law, Pat Emineth, WI, Mary (Tony) Danzl, Bismarck, and Jeanette Doll, Mandan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray; her parents; her sister, Diane Polkinghorn; baby sister, Linda Marie Monroe; her in-laws, Tony and Katie Doll; and brothers-in-law, Wes Schafer and Tom Doll.
