Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of Heaven.” Matthew 19:14 Our beloved, Kailee Joy Scherbenske, was born Friday, April 8, 2016, resting in the arms of Jesus, and living in the majesty of Heaven. Kailee was due to be born June 10, a day before her mommy and daddy’s anniversary. Kailee Joy leaves behind a family who wanted her before she was created, and loved her from the moment they knew of her coming. Our hearts are grieved for the memories we were not able to share. We take comfort in knowing no tear will ever reach her eye, her body will feel no pain; Kailee will only and forever know the Savior’s loving embrace. Those who wait in the Glorious Hope of meeting her face-to-face are her daddy and mommy, Matthew and Sheri Scherbenske, sisters Hannah and Regan, brother Jonah, Bismarck, her grandma, Lynn Stein and friend Ross Gordon, Bismarck; grandpa and grandma, Gary and Marcia Scherbenske, Tuttle; great-grandparents, Marlin and Donna Berreth, Tappen; Doris Stein, Steele; Charles and Dorothy Scherbenske, Bismarck; aunts and uncles Michelle and Pat Gieser, Bismarck; Amy and Mike Martin, Menoken; and cousins Lily Gieser, Joshua, Jacob, Olivia, and Elizabeth Martin. Waiting in Heaven to receive sweet Kailee are an unborn sibling; her grandpa, Rob Stein; and great-grandparents Mel Stein, and Emil and Marlene Wagner. Private family services will be held. The family wishes to thank all their caring friends including the Shiloh Christian School, GracePoint Church, and MOPS communities for their loving care and prayers during our time of grief. You’ve all been such a blessing to our family.
