Karen M Cantrell

Karen Marie Cantrell, 74, of Bismarck, died M a y 22, 2016, at her home in Bismarck. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, June 13, at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E Divide Ave., Bismarck. Family will be greeting guests one hour prior to the service on Monday. Karen was born on July 5, 1941, to Clifford and Priscilla Slaybaugh. She grew up and attended school and graduated from Johnson County High School with the class of 1959 in Buffalo, WY. She was married to Dave Cantrell and lived in Billings, MT, where her two sons were born. She moved to Grafton, and later to Bismarck, ND. She was later divorced. Most of her later adult life was spent in Bismarck. Prior to her retirement she worked a number of years at Herbergers. Karen is survived by her two sons, Kirk (Tamara) Cantrell, Thorne Bay, AK, Brett Cantrell, Rockford, IL; two brothers, Ivan (Debbie) Slaybaugh, Buffalo, WY, Kenny (Ann) Slaybaugh, Arizona City, AZ; two sisters, Nadine (Johnny) Skupa, Lincoln, NE, Chris (Dale) Sherman Gillette, WY; one granddaughter, Sonya Cantrell, Fargo, ND; and two great-grandsons, Andre and Sawyer.
