James David Lane, 33, Bismarck was called home to be with our Lord, on May 25, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am Wednesday, June 1, at Century Baptist Church, 205 Colt Ave., Bismarck, with Rev. Dave Gallagher officiating. Burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Bismarck. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Tuesday, May 31, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. James was born in Forsyth, MT, on October 3, 1982, to parents Dave and Susan. He took great pride in his family and had a great sense of humor, always providing laughter and putting smiles on the faces of his loved ones. James was an ambitious man, running the business he built with his brother and first wife, Melissa, until his diagnosis with cancer. Despite the ongoing battle with cancer, he remained strong and kept his tenacity for life. After the tragic death of his wife, James was blessed to find love again, marrying Heather and uniting their families. James will be remembered for the strength and perseverance he showed, as even in his final days, he continued to put smiles on the faces of his loved ones. James is survived by his wife, Heather Lane; his children, McKayla , Kaeli, and Kaidyn Lane; his step-children, Gage, Mikenna, and Isabelle Walth, and Jalen and Jordyn Gendron; his father Dave Lane; his step-mother, Vicki Lane; his mother, Susan Fry-Gillette; his grandparents, Phil and Patricia Fry, and Virginia Lane; his siblings, Justin Lane, Melissa Lane, Joey Haaser, Mariah Haaser, Stacey Gabel, and Heidi Haaser; his nieces, Jaden and Josie Lane; his nephew, Caleb Lane; and his many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Melissa Lane; his grandfather, “Ted” Lane; and his aunt, Kathleen Shepard.
