Elizabeth Ann Stepp

Elizabeth Ann Stepp, 78, Bismarck, died June 11, 2016, at CHI St. Alexius Health, Bismarck. Services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, June 16, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Wednesday, June 15 at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. Burial will be held at Mandan Union Cemetery, Mandan. Elizabeth was born August 12, 1937, in Bismarck, ND, the daughter of Felix and Elizabeth (Senger) Schneider. She was raised and educated in Bismarck where she graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1956. Following high school, she worked at Bismarck Grocery for a few years and then at Knife River Coal until her son was born in 1969. She married William I. Stepp on December 1, 1967, in Mandan. Elizabeth was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed weekly lunches with her family, spending time with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter, collected dolls, and was an excellent cook who enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends. Elizabeth is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William T. Stepp (Lisa C. Stepp); her grandson, Garrett Stepp, Mandan; her granddaughter, Megan (Stepp) Houn (husband, Duwayne), Mandan, and great-granddaughter, Morgan Houn; her step-grandson, Brandon Drake (wife, Whitney), Cheyenne, WY, and great-grandchildren, Averie and Breydan; her step-grandson, Trevor Johnson, Rock Springs, WY, and great-granddaughter, Annabella Johnson; her step-granddaughter, Maddi Calvert, Mandan, ND; her brothers, James ( wife, Sue) Schneider, and Thomas Schneider, Bismarck; and her best friend and cousin, Loretta Melarvie. She was preceded in death by her husband, William I. Stepp; her parents, Felix and Elizabeth; her brother, Robert; her sister, Rosemary; and numerous cousins and in-laws.
