Louise Marie (Ternes) Rogstad, 55, Bismarck, died June 22, 2016, at CHI St. Alexius Health, Bismarck.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, June 28, at Church of St. Anne, 1321 Braman Ave., Bismarck, with Rev. Frank Schuster, Msgr. Thomas Richter, and Rev. David Richter officiating.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm Monday, June 27, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, where a Catholic Daughters Rosary and vigil service will begin at 7:00 pm.
Burial will be held at the Menoken Cemetery.
Louise Marie Ternes was born December 20, 1960, in Bismarck, the daughter of Leander and Margaret (Hoff) Ternes. She grew up and attended school in Flasher, ND, where she graduated from high school in 1979. Louise went on to attend Bismarck State College, graduating with a business degree. Louise worked as a medical assistant for Dr. Henry Reichert at the Eye Clinic of ND from 1979 – 1997. On May 11, 1990, Louise married Michael G. Rogstad at the Church of St. Anne, Bismarck. Louise was a passionate UND Fighting Sioux hockey fan. She was a selfless, genuine person and had endless smiles and jokes for everyone.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, making greeting cards, collecting thimbles, and scrapbooking her many adventures of her family and friends.
Louise is survived by her husband, Mike, Bismarck, and their children, Hailey Marie, Bismarck, and Michael Anthony, Bismarck; her mother, Margaret Ternes, Bismarck; her siblings, Linda (Randy) Detlaff, Washburn, Corrine Ternes (David Gaugler), Bismarck, Maurice (Agnes) Ternes, Bismarck, and Myron (Allison) Ternes, Mint Hill, NC; her mother-in-law, Elvira Rogstad, Bismarck; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Francis (Laurie) Rogstad, John Rogstad (Sharon Balkowitsch), Myron (Phyllis) Rogstad, Renae (Jerry) Doan, Sharon (Joel) Renfrow, Wayne (Sheila) Rogstad, all of Bismarck, and Janel (Roger) Stewart, Parks Rapids, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leander; infant brother, Michael; father-in-law, Harold Rogstad; and infant nephew, Derek Renfrow.
