Jeanette Lynn Rusch, 76, Mandan, passed away with her family at her side on July 12, 2016.
Services will be held at 10:30 am Monday, July 18, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, with Rev. Dave Gallagher officiating.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm Sunday, July 17, at Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck, where a prayer service will begin at 7:00 pm.
Burial will be held at Churchtown Cemetery, north of New Salem.
Jeanette was born July 22, 1939, to William and Emma (Terry) Lynn in Troop, PA. She received her education from Troop High School. After graduation she started working at Bell Telephone and then at Sears Roebuck. In 1969, she noticed the King of the Bachelors on the cover of Parade magazine. After many letters and meeting the love of her life, she married Clinton Rusch in 1971, and moved to New Salem, ND. In this union they had two daughters and one son. Jeanette was very gifted when it came to sewing, gardening, and crafts. She loved working with her husband, milking cows and helping on the farm. A highlight of her year was being in charge of running the combine. She was an active member of the New Salem ambulance squad and very active in volunteer work.
She will be deeply missed by her husband of 45 years, Clinton Rusch, Mandan, ND; her children, Margaret Rusch (fiancé, Jermaine Ervin), Mandan, Ronald (Amber) Rusch, New Salem, and Susan (Ty) Hardan, Bismarck; her grandchildren, Chanceler, Dawsyn, Kailey, Devin, Brayden, Preston Rusch, and Jermaree and Jerriah Ervin; one sister, Margaret (Ray) Klinitski and daughter, Alyssa; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her older brother, Ronald Lynn; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ella and Robert Rusch; her three brothers-in-law, Paul Evanosky, Dennis and Viran Rusch; and three sisters-in-law, Vi, Delores, and Caroline Rusch.
