Mavis Rath

Mavis D. Rath, 78, Bismarck, died August 23, 2016, at Sanford Health, Bismarck, with her son at her side. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, August 30, at Faith Lutheran Church, 1402 East Avenue C., Bismarck, with Rev. Jon Splichal Larson officiating. Burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Bismarck. Mavis D. Heinle was born March 6, 1938, in Ashley, ND, the daughter of Albert and Clara Heinle. She graduated high school on May 24, 1956. Mavis married Raymond V. Rath on August 19, 1956. She worked as a bookkeeper for the North Dakota State Ag Commission for 30 years. Mavis is survived by her son, Kent; and her two granddaughters, Brittany and Ashley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond.
