Stevie was born to John and Pam (Scherr) Steele in Bismarck, ND, on July 31, 1984. He was raised and educated in Bismarck. Growing up Stevie’s passion was swimming and doing whatever his brothers were doing. Stevie excelled in most everything he decided to do. To this day, he still holds the ND state record in the breaststroke that he set in 1993. As Stevie grew older his passions changed from swimming to being outdoors fishing, hunting, finding rocks and he loved driving for miles and miles in his truck. Stevie worked for his Grandpa Scherr as a youngster shoveling, mowing lawns, and any other miscellaneous jobs Grandpa could find. He worked for Bismarck Lumber for many years except for the last few years when he was training to take over his Dad’s store.
Stevie had a very kind and caring heart. He would do anything for anybody.
Stevie will be deeply missed by his mom, Pam Steele; his dad, John Steele; his brothers, Jeff (Tara) Steele, and Jared (Geraldine) Steele; nephew, Braxton Steele; nieces, Brinley and Addison Steele; his great friends, Zander and Griffin Kunz and Jordan and Amy Moszer; his god child, Jase Moszer; favorite aunts, Marcia Kunz, Paulette Scherr, Bonnie (Ross) Lang, Mary (Rick) Schaible, Susan (Jim) Schick, Marcia Jahnke; Dennis (Debbie) Scherr, Carol (Ken) Smotherman, Lorie (Brian) Bowker; and many cousins.
