Perpetua "Perry" Hulm

Perpetua “Perry” Hulm, 96, Bismarck, died September 10, 2016, at Sanford Health Care Center off Collins, Mandan. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, September 14, at Church of Corpus Christi, 1919 N 2nd St., Bismarck, with Rev. Paul Becker officiating. Burial will be at the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Edgeley, ND. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Tuesday, September 13, at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E Divide Ave., Bismarck, where a vigil/rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Perpetua was born July 9, 1920, near Strasburg, ND, to Faustina and Marianne (Betsch) Braun. She married Jacob Hulm on June 25, 1940, at Holy Trinity Church. The couple lived in Edgeley, ND, and from there they moved to Bismarck. Jacob passed away in December 2011. Perpetua is survived by her son, Ronald, Bismarck; her daughter, Marie (Robert) Smith, Adrian, ND; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, and one great-great grandson; her sisters-in-law, Anne Braun and Margaret Braun; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob; her grandson, Michael Smith; daughter-in-law, Sharon Hulm; one sister; and 13 brothers.
