Rose Feist, 92, Bismarck, died September 21, 2016, at CHI St. Alexius Health, Bismarck.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, September 28, at Church of St. Mary, 806 E Broadway Ave., Bismarck, with Msgr. Gene Lindemann officiating.
Burial will be held at the Menoken Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm Tuesday, September 27, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, where a vigil will begin at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Rose Feist was born February 11, 1924, in Emmons County, ND, the daughter of Alexander and Katherine (Feist) Neigum. She was raised and educated in Emmons Co, and married Ignatius Feist on November 14, 1945, at Church of St. Mary, Bismarck.
Rose worked at the old Holiday Inn, and at St. Vincent Nursing Home until her retirement in 1986. She was a member of Church of St. Mary. Rose enjoyed playing Bingo, and especially loved cooking for her family.
This pleasant, gracious lady was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by her family and many good friends. Rose is survived by her daughters, Dianne (Frank) Haney and Marlene (Ron) Bauer, all of Bismarck; her sons, John (Pat) Feist, Fargo, and Greg Feist, Bismarck; three grandsons, Mike (Lori) Feist, Mark (Sarah) Feist, and Danny (Jenny) Bauer; two granddaughters, Amber Feist and Amanda (Randy) Wimer; eight great-grandchildren, Jeremy Feist, Taylor Feist, Courtney Feist, Levi Bauer, Kali Bauer, Landon Wimer, Ashlynn Wimer, and Brynleigh Feist; her sisters, Ann Schmidt, Katie Schmidt, Elizabeth Keller, and Francis (Juel) Gustafson; her brother, Alex (Carol) Neigum; sisters-in-law, Leota Neigum and Theresa Neigum; and many nieces and nephews.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Ignatius; her daughter, Corrine Feist; her brothers, Peter, John and Frank Neigum, and baby Joseph Neigum; and her sisters, Agnes Neigum, Phyllis Garman, Caroline Bender and Maggie Bartlow.
