The angels are dancing!
We would like you all to know that Janet’s work here is done. She received a totally unexpected call that turned out to be an invitation she simply couldn’t refuse. She was called to join a party thrown by the angels where she has become one with them. Her new adventure takes her to a wonderful place where she is surrounded by some dear family and friends and where she can enjoy being outdoors, socializing and touching the hearts of angels and mortals everywhere, entirely pain-free. In anticipation of this call, she left detailed expectations that her husband, children, grandchildren, and all who knew her, get on with the living and enjoy the sunshine and flowers and happy moments of the everyday. For them, her spirit will live on with easy memories of her beautiful smile, friendly heart and “Go for it!” attitude. The sweet smells of Monster Cookies and Scalloped Potatoes won’t hurt either.
May the sunrises embrace your spirit, the wildflowers dance with your soul and the birds carry your voice across the days and nights for the rest of our lives.
A celebration of Janet’s life will take place beginning on Monday, October 24, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, from 6 pm – 8 pm, where a vigil service will begin at 7:00 pm. The celebration will continue with a funeral mass at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, 519 Raymond St., Bismarck, on Tuesday, October 25 beginning at 12.30 pm.
Burial will be held at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, at 3pm.
