Gregory M. Holverson, 69, Menoken, ND, died October 30, 2016.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 4, at 1:30 PM at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, with Rev. Darrel Aleson officiating.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm Friday, November 4, at Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck.
Burial will be held at 3:00 pm Friday at the ND Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.
Greg was born July 16, 1947, in Willmar, MN, to Shirle and Mildred Holverson.
Greg graduated from Willmar High School in 1965 where he earned an Eagle Scout award and played on the golf team. In 1970, he graduated from NDSU with a degree in architecture and was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity and US Army ROTC.
After college, Greg moved to Bismarck and practiced architecture with the Al F. Kosir firm, then spent 30 years in sales with Team Lab, before retiring in August 2016. Greg served in the US Army Reserves.
Greg enjoyed walleye fishing, deer and pheasant hunting, golf and spending time with his large, extended family at his lake home on George Lake in Spicer, MN.
Greg married Connie Wisness in 1969 and had two children, Heather and Seth. He married Laurie Wagner in 1981 and had one son, Ryan.
Greg is survived by his sons, Seth of Lake Oswego, OR, and Ryan (Amanda Renner) of Bismarck; sister Patricia Peterson of Willmar, MN; grandchildren Oliver (8), Eleanor (6), and his newest sweetheart, Grace Holverson (2 months).
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Heather.
