Rosemary Ruby Morrison, 66, Robinson, passed away on November 11, 2016, in Minneapolis, MN.
Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, November 19, at Robinson Community Center (Old School Gym), with Rev. Steve Behrens officiating.
Burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Robinson.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Friday, November 18, at Eastgate-Steele Memorial Chapel, in Steele, ND, where a prayer service will begin at 7:30 pm.
Rosemary was born on December 27, 1949, in Bismarck, ND, at St. Alexius Hospital to Harold and Rose (Derline) Jenner. She attended high school in Goodrich and graduated in 1967. She went on to earn a teaching degree from Valley City State University. Rosemary worked as a teacher of Home Economics, Business, and Physical Education. She even taught motorcycle drivers education. She retired from teaching in May 2004. Rosemary married Burdette Morrison Jr. on June 20, 1975, in Tuttle, ND.
She was actively involved in the Robinson Lions Club, First Responder for Kidder County, the Kidder County Ambulance, her church, and the Legion Auxiliary. She greatly enjoyed crocheting, reading, traveling, and spending time with friends. She had great joy in spending time with her family and loved to go to the various activities of her grandchildren.
Rosemary is survived by her husband, Burdette Morrison, Jr., Robinson; her son, Justin (Melody) Morrison, Bismarck; her daughter, Jennifer (Kris) Mathern, Beijing, China; four grandchildren, Taylor Morrison, Logan Morrison, RaeAnn Morrison, and Sophe Mathern; her sister, Aileen Erdmann;and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Rose Jenner; her father-in-law, Burdette Morrison Sr.; her mother-in-law, Ethel Morrison; granddaughter, Kaylee Morrison; and her brother-in-law, Michael Erdmann.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Kidder County Ambulance or the Robinson United Methodist Church.
