Timothy Magstadt

Timothy Magstadt, 69, Bismarck, died December 14, 2016, at Sanford Health, Bismarck. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, December 23, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, with Pastor Mark Iblings officiating. Cremation has taken place. Timothy was born April 29, 1947, in Bismarck, ND, the son of August and Tillie (Heinle) Magstadt. He was raised in Elgin and graduated from Elgin High School in 1965. Timothy was the owner/manager of Grant County Gas, a family owned propane gas delivery business, and also farmed. He married Debbie Dittus on September 15, 1984, in Bismarck. Their son Zachary was born in 1992. Tim was an avid reader and enjoyed the outdoors: hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Tim spoke fluent German and always enjoyed the opportunity to use it. Tim is survived by his wife, Debbie, and his son, Zachary, Bismarck. He was preceded in death by his parents, August and Tillie; and his sister, Marjorie Lou.
