Agnes E. Emineth, 94, Bismarck, died January 21, 2017, at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center, Bismarck.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, January 28, at Church of St. Anne, 1321 Braman Ave., Bismarck, with Rev. Wayne Sattler officiating.
Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bismarck.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Friday, January 27, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, where a vigil service will begin at 6:00 pm.
Agnes was born January 29, 1922, on her family farm in Oliver County, ND. She was the 7th of 15 children born to Bernard Sr. and Florentine (Heinz) Pfliger. Agnes grew up in Pleasant Valley and attended country elementary school. She worked for several neighbors until she moved to Monroe, WA, and worked as a practical nurse for 3 ½ years. She then moved back to North Dakota and married Anton “Tony” Emineth. The couple farmed in Center and moved to Baldwin in 1950, where they raised their seven children, Linda, Elaine, Marie, Dan, Jerry, Norman, and Joseph.
Agnes enjoyed gardening, photography, crocheting, quilting, beadwork, and fishing.
Agnes is survived by her children, Linda (Wayne) Zander, Sun Lakes, AZ, Elaine Emineth, Bismarck, Marie (Garvan) Ghylin, Blaine, MN, Dan (Darla) Emineth, Bismarck, and Jerry (Robin) Emineth, Grand Rapids, MI; her nine grandchildren, Nichole and Michelle Gerszewski, Lisa Ghylin, Anthony Ghylin (Amber Hale), Janel (Bradley) Jacobson, Derek Emineth, Alicia Emineth; Shawn (Melanie) Zander, and Sarah Zander; and six great-grandchildren, Chloee Emineth, Jerzee Emineth, Caleb, Kallie, Ethan, Gabriel Zander; her sisters, Clementine (Tony) Friese, Gertie Welk, and Barbara (Arvid) Oestrich; her brothers, Raymond (Jackie) Pfliger, and Bernard (Catherine) Pfliger.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony; her sons, Norman and Joseph; her parents; her sisters, Marion, Monica, Idenia, Frances, Berbeda; her brothers, Nick, Frank, Anton, and Adam; and her great-grandson, Landon Emineth.
