Ciara Jo Lucier

Ciara Jo Lucier, 18, Bismarck, passed away January 30, 2017, at CHI St. Alexius Health, Bismarck. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, February 4, at Zion Lutheran Church, 413 Ave D East, Bismarck, with Rev. Thomas R. Marcis Jr., officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm Friday, February 3, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, where a prayer service will begin at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Ciara was born August 3, 1998, to John and Cari (Fischer) Lucier. She attended Jeannette Myhre, Wachter Middle School, and graduated from Bismarck High School in June 2016. She was a freshman at Bismarck State College. Ciara was employed at Burger King and volunteered at The Terrace in activities, for a college class. Ciara was the baby of the family and took full advantage of it in her younger years. Her sister, Kelli, and brothers, Trevor and Brandon, always gave in to what Ciara needed or wanted. In the last couple of years, Ciara blossomed into a young beautiful girl with a heart of gold. She was so proud to become an aunt to Anthony Jay (7-6-15), and Kameron Jay (8-20-15). Ciara was looking forward to moving to Arizona with her family in June. Ciara will be forever missed by her parents, John and Cari; sister, Kelli (Jay); brother, Brandon (Kaitlyn); nephews, Anthony Jay Lucier and Kameron Jay Sauls; aunt and uncle, Heather (Jason) Kramer; cousin, Tyler Kramer; great-grandma, Florence Fischer; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was welcomed by great-grandpa, Harold Fischer (04-05-2000); grandma, Donna Lucier (06-03-02), brother, Trevor Jay (08-29-09); grandpa, Daryl Fischer (03-10-16); grandma, Marty Fischer (07-23-16); and the family bassett hound, Clifford. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Central Dakota Humane Society, 2104 37th St, Mandan, ND, 58554.
