Anton “Tony” Gleich, 85, Baldwin, died February 25, 2017, at CHI St. Alexius Health, Bismarck.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, March 2, at Church of St. Anne, 1321 Braman Ave., Bismarck.
Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bismarck.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm Wednesday, March 1, at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E. Divide Ave., Bismarck, where a rosary/vigil service will begin at 7:00 pm.
Tony was born April 23, 1931, in Dodge, ND, on the family farm to John and Mary (Senger) Gleich, where he was raised and educated. Tony married Mary Lou Lacey at Church of St. Mary, Bismarck, on November 3, 1954. The couple made their home in Bismarck until moving to the farm in Baldwin in 1971.
Tony worked for Cenex LP Gas of St. Paul, MN, as a propane supervisor for 39 years, until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, and spending time with his family.
Tony is survived by his wife, Mary Lou; children, Donny (Sandy), David (Tammy), Pat, Dan (Laura), Kathy (John) Clausen; daughter-in-law, Linda Gleich; 17 grandchildren, Becky, Amy, Jamie, Matthew, Carrie, John, Jeremy, Lisa, Dustin, Heidi, Casey, Amanda, Allison, Jessica, Kari Jo, Katie and Nicole; 19 great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Taeghan, Vann, Lainn, Stella, Ellie, Ethan, Dreyson, Jaxon, Miles, Quinn, Logan, Mason, Colton, Harper, Hayden, Mackenzie, Evan, and Brayden; brothers, Pius, and Jim (Dixie), Helena, MT; and sister, Frances (Ed) Riedl, Dickinson.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Dennis and Thomas; his grandson, Jason Zietz; brothers, Danny and Fred; sisters, Helen, Eva, and Judy; parents, John and Mary; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, James Earl and Louise Lacey.
