Bernice (Wolf) Thompson passed away on her 84th birthday, Friday, March 10, 2017, at CHI St Alexius Health in Bismarck, ND. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 29, at 1:00 PM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Bismarck. Bernice was born at Elgin, ND, on March 10, 1933, the daughter of Jacob and Magdalena (Schock) Wolf. She grew up in Elgin and graduated from Elgin High School in 1952. She graduated from Wahpeton State School of Science and then moved to Denver, CO, where she met Lewis Thompson. They were married April 15, 1973, in Denver where they both were employed until retiring to Bismarck in 2001. Survivors include her husband, Lewis Thompson, Bismarck, ND; five sisters, Lorraine Weikum and Leona (James) Ulrich, Elgin, ND, Delores Bader, Grand Forks, ND, Luella Baesler, New Leipzig, ND, and Alverna (Clarence) Veitz, Bismarck, ND; and two brothers, Jake (Sharron) Wolf, Detroit Lakes, MN, and Rudy (Mary) Wolf, Bismarck, ND. She loved and was loved by dozens of nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, and grand-nieces. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Bernetta Teitz, Darlene Nagel; an infant sister, Claudina; and an unnamed infant brother.
