Theresa M. Glovich

Theresa M. Glovich, 68, Mandan, ND, died peacefully at her home on Friday, March 17, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 AM at Church of the Ascension in Bismarck with Rev. Msgr. James Braaten officiating. Burial will be at St. Katherine’s Cemetery in Braddock. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Eastgate Funeral Service where a rosary/vigil service will begin at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the church. Theresa was born to John C. and Teresa (Jacob) Wald on July 14, 1948, in rural Emmons County. She was raised on the family farm near Napoleon, ND. She attended country school in rural Wishek and graduated from Wishek High School. On August 30, 1969, Theresa married Roger Glovich at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Kintyre, ND. They resided in Bismarck where Theresa worked as a hairdresser for over 30 years until her health forced her to retire She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and baking for her family. Everyone loved her pierogi buns and pigs in a blanket. She also enjoyed playing bingo and socializing with all of her friends and loved ones. Theresa is survived by her children, Scott (Jessica) Glovich of Bismarck, Michael (Jennifer) Glovich of Sioux Falls, SD, Kevin (Amy) Glovich of Mandan, and Stacie (Franklin) Isaac of Mandan; her grandchildren, Leah, Jacob, Andrew, Emily, Aevah, Nicholas, Kenton, Weston, Carter, Landon, and Dylan; her sisters, Frances (Francis) Feist of Colorado Springs, CO, Kathy (Daniel) Schumacher of Rockford, MN, and Beverly (Dave) Erickson of Bismarck; her brother, John (Josie) Wald of Buffalo, MN; her brother-in-law, John Glovich of Bismarck; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her brother, Elmer; her sister, Florence; and her brother and sisters-in-law, Paul and Donna Hausauer and Caroline Glovich.
