Cheryl Marsh

Cheryl Marsh, 58, Bismarck, died April 16, 2017, at Prospera Community on Sunset in Mandan. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, with Pastor Christina Martin officiating. The family will greet guests one hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will be at Mandan Union Cemetery. Cheryl was born on May 15, 1958, in Hazen, ND, to Raymond and Ardella (Beck) Halter. She grew up on the family farm in Dodge, ND. She graduated from Dodge High School in 1976. Cheryl married Craig Marsh Sr. on May 27, 1983. She worked as front counter and bookkeeper for Turitto’s Dry Cleaning for 16 years. For her last year she was able to work, she spent at Candlewood Suites in Bismarck as front desk clerk. Cheryl enjoyed crafts, cross-stitching, reading, puzzle books, gardening, fishing, and most of all, spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandson. Cheryl is survived by her husband, Craig; her mother, Ardella Halter; her children, Raymond (Susan) Vogel, Amanda (Jamie) Haff, Angela (Rick) Chenoweth, Crystal Marsh (Darren Streyle) and Katrina Johnson; grandchildren, Brittany, Kyra, Kendra, Stephanie, Vanessa, Shawn, Colin, Jerica, Adrianna, and Jaxson; great-grandson, Kasen; and siblings, Ruth Halter (John Starr), Rick (JoAnn) Halter, and Brenda (Dwight) Buerkle. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Halter; father-in-law, Francis Marsh; grandchildren, Lexi, Dominic, and Levi Vogel; son-in-law, Joey Johnson; and stepson, Craig Marsh Jr.
