Abigail Carry Mocassin

Abigail “Abby” Carry Mocassin sadly passed away on April 28th 2024, at the age of 26 due to her journey with cancer.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM, Friday May 3 at Heritage Church, 500 Remington Ave, Bismarck, ND 58503.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00PM, Thursday, May 2 at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. 

Interment at Mandan Union Cemetery. 

Abby was born on April 8th, 1998, to Shannon Carry Mocassin and Jackie Klein in Bismarck. She graduated from Bismarck High School in 2016. Right after she took a job at a The Healthy Dog Center as a dog groomer. That was her first and only job! She worked at HDC for six years and loved seeing the dogs every day. 

Abby loved watching YouTube. One of her favorite youtubers was Corey La Barrie who had a saying, “live your life full of oh wells instead of what if's.” She loved part of that quote so much she got “oh well” tattooed on her right wrist. Abby lived her life with oh wells and that “it will be okay.” Even though Abby lived a short life, all you know for sure is that she loved her sisters, family, friends, dogs, YouTube, getting tattoos and loving God. She trusted the Lord through her journey and she always said that he gave her a sense of peace in her journey. 

Abby will be deeply missed by her sisters, Taylor and Kaylee, auntie Rocky and uncle John, auntie Julie, uncle Fran, and uncle Delmer. Cousins, Liz, Mikaela, and Joie, as well as many more cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and beloved dog, Logan.  

Abby followed her parents, Jackie and Shannon; older brother, Trevor John; cousin, Joshua; grandparents; aunts; uncles; cousins; friends; and three beloved dogs, Patty, Allie and Lily to heaven. 

Taylor and Kaylee, I will love you forever!
