Alan Hausauer, 68, Bismarck, passed away June 19, 2017, at CHI St. Alexius Health, Bismarck. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, June 22, at Sunne Lutheran Church, Wilton, with Rev. Paul Schauer officiating. Family will greet visitors from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm Wednesday, June 21, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, where a prayer service will begin at 6:00 pm. Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck. Alan Wayne Hausauer was born in Longview, WA, on February 24, 1949. He graduated from Regan High School, Regan, ND, in 1967, and went on to farm for the next 46 years in the Regan area. Alan married JoAnn Hruby on October 11, 1968, and had two sons, John and Ronald. Alan served on the Burleigh County Farm Bureau Board of Directors, Estherville Township Board, various NDFB committees; he helped start the Wilton Pheasants Forever Chapter and was appointed to the ND Natural Resources Trust by former Governor Ed Schafer in 1994 and served eight years. Alan retired from farming in 2012. Alan is survived by his wife, JoAnn, Bismarck; his sons, John (Kathy) Hausauer, Regan, and Ronald (Wendy) Hausauer, Bismarck; nine grandchildren, Katrina (Keith), Jayden, Miranda, Paige, Jennifer, Angel, Noah, Bayli and Kaleb; mother, Arlene; his brothers, Doug (Vangie), Mark (Kari), and Barry (Rhody); his sisters, Sandy Johnson and Nancy Hausauer; and five half-brothers and sisters, Kathy Rankin, Mitzi Colclasure, Mike Robinson, Karen Robinson, and Jack Gatlih. He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin; and his brother-in-law, Brian Johnson.
