Alan K Seibel

Alan K. Seibel, 79, passed away on April 4, 2025, at CHI St. Alexius.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 23, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck.

Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.

Alan was born on May 4, 1945, in Bismarck, North Dakota, to Alfred and Martha (Wahl) Seibel. Alan spent his early years in Wing before moving to Bismarck at the age of nine. Following graduation from Bismarck High School, he began his working career with the Public Works Dept. for the City of Bismarck.

Alan married Diana Roberts, in August of 1972 at Corpus Christi Church in Bismarck.

Alan was a man of many interests and hobbies. He had a passion for hockey, fishing and squirrel hunting with a slingshot, and also enjoyed tinkering on various projects. He was fond of the time spent visiting with friends and family.

He will be remembered fondly by those who knew him and will be deeply missed.

Alan is survived by his wife, Diana, Bismarck; daughter, Marie (Gerald) Bruning, Mandan; grandson, Trea Bruning, Mandan; sister-in-law, Esther Seibel. St. Louis, MO; and nieces and nephew, Lynette (Randy) Thorson, St. Paul, MN, Kenneth (Kathy) Seibel, Cindy (Larry) Kreissler, all of St. Louis, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Marvin; sister, Carol (Ellis) Eisenbeis; and infant brother, Wesley.
