Alice Seifert went to her heavenly home on June 10, 2024 surrounded by her family.

Alice was born at home to Rufus and Catherine (Brieltz) Mosbrucker on June 29, 1929 in Center ND.

When Alice was seven, she received a Chinese Checker game for Christmas from Santa Claus, that she still loved playing at age 94.

Alice graduated from Mandan High School in 1947 as Valedictorian. On June 30, 1948 she married George Seifert, the love of her life, in Center, ND. They had eight children, Georgette, Mary Alice, Philip, Catherine, Bernadette, Christopher, Michael and Teresa. Alice was incredibly proud of her family. The family grew first with 23 grandchildren and then 45 great-grandchildren with one more on the way.

Religion was a central part of her life. She was a member of Cathedral of the Holy Spirit Church for over 50 years. Alice and George were inducted into the St. Mary’s Central High School Hall of Fame. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and St. Anne's Parish Guild.

Early in her career she worked as a switchboard operator for Northwestern Bell, treasurer for a Credit Union and in 1970 partnered with George to establish Seifert Electric.

Alice’s faith, love and generosity will be her legacy on earth.

Alice is survived by her loving family, Georgette (Charles) Falk, Mary Alice (Mike) Neigum, Philip (Susan), Catherine “Kate” (Mark) Zander, Bernadette (Jerome) Fitterer, Christopher (Donna), Michael (Jane), Teresa (Arnie) Heidrich. She is also survived by her 23 grandchildren: Michael, Ben and Zachary Neigum, and Sarah Ternes; Tricia Wild, Rachel Spilde and P.J. Seifert; Annie Bennett and Katie Jo Wald; Angela Myerchin and Patrick, Matthew and Bryan Fitterer; Paul and Nick Seifert, Laura Hase and Allison Carlson; Jessica Arndt, Thomas Seifert and Michaela Larson; Brandon and Grant Heidrich as well as Alice’s 45 great-grandchildren with one more on the way.

She will be in reunited heaven with her husband George, her parents, sisters; Helen, Dorothy and Agnes, her granddaughter, Melanie Neigum and her special friend, (sister) Rosemarie.

The family would like to thank the 3rd floor staff of MSLH and each person that received her smile.
