Alicia Kramer died April 13, 2019 at CHI St. Alexius, Bismarck.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday April 18, at Spirit of Life Church, 801 1st St SE, Mandan.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Wednesday April 17, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, where a vigil/rosary will begin at 7:00 pm.
Burial will be at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.
Alicia “Alice” R. Kramer was born on January 2, 1936 in Linton, ND, the daughter of Ben and Barbara (Baumgartner) Glass. She grew up and attended school near Linton. On November 22, 1954, she married Leo Kramer at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, rural Linton. They made their home in Linton where she would do ladies hair for many years. In 1977, they moved to Mandan, ND, where she worked as a Mary Kay consultant for 39 years.
She enjoyed gardening, canning and was active in selling produce and canned goods at the Mandan Farmer’s Market for many years. Alicia’s true passion was fishing and boating. She especially enjoyed fishing on the Missouri River, Devils Lake, The Great Lakes and Canada. She was phenomenal at cooking German food and was especially known for her homemade chicken noodle soup and creamed chicken. She was an avid bowler for most of her life.
Alicia was an active member at Spirit of Life Church and helped in the soup kitchen.
She is survived by her husband, Leo, Mandan; her four children, Iris (Allan) Fuller, Bismarck, Randall (Janie) Indiana, Carlis (Joni), Fargo, and Jayme (Stacy) Mandan; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren; her brothers, Bill (Marie) Glass, Arizona, and Clarence Glass, Mandan, her sisters, Isabel Kuhn, Wisconsin, and Lillian Kraft, Bismarck.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Roy Glass and Viola Wolf.
