Alvina Faith

Alvina Faith, 89, St. Louis Park, MN, died October 20, 2017. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, October 26, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, with Rev. Msgr. Gene Lindemann officiating. Family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service at Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck. Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bismarck. Alvina was born on October 24, 1927, in Strasburg, ND, the daughter of Valentine and Elizabeth (Bachmeier) Braun. She was raised and attended schools in Strasburg. Alvina then attended beautician school, before marrying Anton Faith. She was known as a fantastic cook and she loved her grandchildren deeply. Alvina’s extended family remembers her for her kindness and fun-loving nature. Alvina is survived by her children, Harold (Lina), Lincoln, NE, Donald (Jackie), West Fargo, ND, Karen (Kenny) Albrecht, Carrington, ND, and Thomas (Dianne) Faith, Ham Lake, MN; her grandchildren, Ling, Ricky, May, Scott, Toni, Kristie, Joshua, Jason, T.J., and Jenna; 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter; her brothers, Ray, Victor, and Kenneth; and her sisters, Christina Lippert, Betty Dienstmann, and Linda Herr. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark; one great-grandson; her brothers, LeRoy and Alex; and her sisters, Bernice and Seline.
