Sweet baby boy Anders Paul Jungling, born on January 30, 2018 to Ryne and Rachel Jungling, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, January 12, 2019. On the morning of January 10, Anders experienced respiratory and cardiac arrest. After being taken by EMTs to St. Alexius in Bismarck, his heart began beating again after prolonged CPR. He was then airlifted to Sanford in Fargo. He remained in critical condition while the medical team took every step they could to help him recover. Services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, January 19, at Century Baptist Church, 205 Colt Ave., Bismarck, with Rev. Paul Herr officiating. Burial will be at Mandan Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm Friday, January 18, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, where a remembrance and prayer service will begin at 6:00 pm. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. We and so many others have been praying for a miracle for Anders, but he already is. After years of trying to get pregnant, news of his existence was his first brush with the miraculous. After a bumpy pregnancy, an induced delivery, and a stay in the NICU, Anders was a smiley, happy, healthy little miracle. After his prolonged CPR, it was a miracle that we were able to spend extra time with him. Anders’s current miraculous experience is getting to spend eternity with Jesus. We will miss his big smile, the way he loved to snuggle, waking up to him standing in his crib saying da da da and chewing on it, how he would always hold hands with Linnea while they ate, his zest for exploration, and his hearty giggle. When we chose the name Anders, we loved that in John 1:40-41 immediately after meeting Jesus, Andrew went to tell his brother about him. We always hoped Anders would tell others about Jesus. We are telling you for him. Jesus loves you so much. He loves us so much and is loving our sweet baby in heaven right now. We can’t imagine choosing to give up your son, but God did that so the price for our sins could be paid. We are here to talk about our Savior if you ever want to. He does amazing things and is the Prince of Peace. Please pray that His peace would fill our lives while our hearts ache for our boy. Anders is survived by his twin sister Linnea, parents Ryne and Rachel, grandparents Lorell and Renae Jungling (Mandan), grandparents Chuck and Laurie Crummy (Grand Forks), uncle and aunt Reid and Kayla Jungling (Minot), uncle and aunt Matt and Allie Crummy and cousins Charlotte, Ambrose, and Lincoln Crummy (Des Moines), and great-grandma Mavis Zahursky (Minot), along with many other loving family members and friends.
