Andy was born at home in Braddock, ND, on September 2, 1944, to Joseph P. and Magdalena (Wald) Moch. He was raised on their family farm near Braddock, ND. After graduating high school, he joined the United States Air Force, and during his terms served in the Vietnam War. Andy married Cheryl Schuette on February 24, 1972. After spending some time in Sacramento, CA, they moved back to Bismarck, ND, where he worked as a foreman on several construction projects including the Bismarck Tribune, and the Dakota Gasification Company in Beulah, ND. He later started his own company, ACM Builders, and had many longtime clients. Instead of retiring, he joined the Comfort Suites family to build furniture. He considered Bob, Bernie, and many of his co-workers very close friends. Andy loved sports. He played basketball and baseball as a young boy, and later in life played on a softball league. He followed many local and national sports teams and would often re-sight statistics. Once he fully retired, Andy could be found on the golf course playing league golf or serving as a course Ranger. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his 4-year old grandson, Kian, who he always called buddy. He never missed an opportunity to visit and share stories with close friends and family. Andy was loved unconditionally, and will be deeply missed by his wife Cheryl; his two daughters Leann Moch of Bismarck, and Tera (Jon) Long of Seattle; his grandson, Kian; his son-in-law Jeffrey; two sisters, Angeline Erhardt; and Delores Laursen; two brothers, Arnold (Gloria) Moch, and Clarence (Elizabeth) Moch; his sister-in-law, Jean Moch; his brother-and sister-in-law, Allan and Diane (Schuette) Leier; as well as nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
