Andrew Ming

Andrew Ming, 40, of Bismarck, passed away Friday, February 14, 2025, at Sanford Hospital after a short illness.

A private service will be held with family per Andrew’s wishes.

Andrew was born October 3, 1984, in Fargo to Dennis and Maureen (Bosch) Ming, the oldest of three children. The family moved to Minot when Andrew was 2 years old and lived there for 10 years before moving to Bismarck. He graduated from St. Mary’s Central High School in 2003 and attended North Dakota State University and Rasmussen College. He worked in the field of Geographic Information System mapping and CAD technology. Andrew enjoyed hunting, skiing, boating, and online gaming. He was a caring person with a strong love of animals, especially his cats.

Andrew is survived by his mother, Maureen, Bismarck; his siblings, Erin (Cody) Wetzel, Omaha, Neb., and Stefan (Linaya) Ming, Bismarck; his nieces and nephew, Avery Wetzel, Sutton Wetzel, and Cullen Ming; his fiancée, Hannah Johnstone; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Andrew was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Ming; his grandparents, Andrew and Mary Bosch; and his cousin, Eric Andreson.
