Anna Wetzel

Anna Wetzel passed away at the age of 92 on June 22nd at her home surrounded by her loving girls. Anna was born August 15, 1924 in Zeeland, ND. She loved to garden, embroider and make sure everyone around her had enough to eat. Anna worked as a housekeeper for the following governors: Olson, Sinner, Schafer and Hoeven. There aren't words to describe how much this lovely lady will be missed. Anna is survived by her children, Dennis(Shirley) Wetzel, Bismarck, Doug (Donna) Wetzel, Bismarck, Linda (Jim) Backer, Mandan, Brenda (Ron) Fischer, Wisconsin, Vicke (John) Grey, Mandan, Tammy (Todd) Becker, Bismarck, Lisa (Chad) Cullen, Minnesota; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three brothers;  Ray, Orvin, and Carl; four sisters, Regina, Theresa, Bonnie, Patty and JoAnn (sister in law). She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Theresia Aberle; two sisters, Pauline and Marie and one brother, John.  “Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever.” Psalm 23:6 A ceremony will be held in Zeeland, ND later this summer.
