On April 21, 2018, on a beautiful spring day, our mom, Toni Weber, went to be with our Lord Jesus. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 25, at Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, 519 Raymond St., Bismarck, with Rev. Jared Johnson officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bismarck. There will be a gathering for family and friends starting at 6:00 pm Tuesday, April 24, at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E. Divide Ave., Bismarck, followed by a Catholic Daughters Rosary at 7:00 pm. Toni was born in 1933 and raised in southwestern North Dakota near Dickinson. She married her childhood sweetheart, Dennis, and later moved to Mandan, ND. They raised 5 children together, Roberta, Denys, Mark, Lori and John. Toni graduated from the St. Alexius Hospital School of Nursing with a registered nursing degree. She spent over 20 years working at St. Alexius hospital where she loved helping and caring for people. Mom was a devout Catholic who attended mass daily. She was kind and her heart was full of love and compassion for people. She had a memorable smile and a sharp wit. Mom loved to travel with dad visiting many places around the world, being especially fond of China. Toni had many roles in her life, wife, mother, grandma, nurse, gardener, seamstress, golfer and competitive card player. Cards were her passion. Hotly contested pinochle games, with her grandchildren, were her favorite. She also held a lifetime Masters in bridge. In her later years, politics became very important to her. Fox News was frequently on her television and on her tongue. Mom loved wildlife, especially pheasants, deer and her favorite, rabbits. She had a vast collection of them decorating her home. Toni’s family was extremely important to her. She spent her time with her grandchildren, Blayne, Connor and McKenna. She will be missed by us all!! God bless you Tune!
