Ardith June Williams, 82, Bismarck, passed away, Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Sanford Hospital.

Funeral service will held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 29, at Grace Lutheran Brethren Church, 2400 E. Ave A, Bismarck. 

Visitation will be held 5-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 28, at Grace Lutheran Brethren Church.  

Burial will take place at Sunset Cemetery, Bismarck.

Ardith was born on July 2, 1940, in Bismarck, ND, the daughter of Arthur and Bertha (Spitzer) Franklund. She grew up on a farm in Baldwin and graduated from Bismarck High School in 1959. On July 23, 1960, she married Clifford Williams at Zion Lutheran Church in Bismarck. To this union, they had three children, Bryan, Tim and Dawn.

Ardith was an Avon representative for over 30 years and also worked as a teachers aide for a time.  For the last five years, Ardith lived at Maple View in Bismarck.

She had a green thumb and enjoyed flowers and plants. She also liked bird watching and going for walks.  She was a member of Grace Lutheran Brethren Church, where she volunteered for 30 years helping decorate for the different seasons. She loved her milk, having it with every meal and snack. She loved taking and looking at photos and cards, but most of all, family was her favorite. She loved being mom and grandma.  

She is survived by her children, Tim (Laura) Williams, Florence, MT and Dawn (Karsten) Anderson, Bismarck; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Selina (Buck) Crawford and their kids, Lily and Conner, Alecia Williams, Robbyn Williams, Bryan Williams, Gustav (Abby) Anderson and their son, Thorin, Kate Anderson, Maxten Anderson and Annelise Anderson; sister, Mavis Buchholz and Marlene (Kenneth) Landsberger; sister-in-law, Marlene Franklund; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford; son, Bryan Williams; parents, Arthur and Bertha Franklund; brothers, Willis (Betty) Franklund and Dwight Franklund; brother-in-law, Rodger Buchholz; and nephew, Greg Franklund.

Memorials are preferred to Grace Lutheran Brethren Church, Bismarck.
