Arlene (James) Zoller, 80, passed away Feb 9, 2018, at the Baptist Health Care Center, Bismarck, with her family by her side. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, February 14, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, with Pastor Merle Hoots officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Tuesday, February 13, at Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck, where a prayer service will begin at 7:00 pm. Arlene was born June 18, 1937, on a farm northeast of Linton, ND, where she was raised. She was the daughter of John and Bernita (Sikel) James. Arlene married Arnold Zoller at United Methodist Church in Linton on January 24, 1953; they enjoyed 65 years of marriage together and raised four sons and a daughter. Arlene enjoyed reading, camping, and watching wildlife. Arlene’s passion was her family. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and loved family gatherings. Arlene will be remembered for her genuine smile and being a kind, loving individual who always put others’ needs before her own. She was considered a mom and grandma to many who met her. Arlene always had a hug and plate ready at the dinner table for “extended family.” Grateful to have been a part of her life are her husband, Arnold, Linton; two sons, Terry, Hazelton, and Perry (Barb), Linton; one daughter, Kazy (Kyle), Bismarck; grandchildren, Honalee, WI, Audrey (Jeremy), Mandan, Dustin, Bismarck, Breanna, Bismarck, and Kaden, Bismarck; great-grandchildren, Deltyn, WI, McKynna, WI, Tretyn, Wishek, Kyleigh and Kelsie, Mandan; sisters, Eleanor and Ralph Nieuwsma, Bismarck, Carole Baumiller, Hazelton, and Sharon James, Fargo; and several nieces and nephews. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Timothy Zoller and Thomas Zoller; grandson, Calen Zoller; great-granddaughter, Delayni Lincoln; sisters, Delda Reamann and Delores Sauter; brothers, Charles James and Elon James; brothers-in-law, Arnie Baumiller, Alvin Sauter, and Harvey Reamann; and sister-in-law Isabel James.
