Barbara Hoepfner, 93, Bismarck, died July 16, 2017, at St. Vincent’s Care Center, Bismarck.Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, July 20, at Church of St. Mary, 806 E. Broadway Ave., Bismarck, with Rev. Msgr. Gene Lindemann and Rev. Marvin Klemmer officiating.Burial will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Wednesday, July 19, at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E. Divide Ave., Bismarck, where a rosary/vigil service will begin at 7:00 pm. Barbara was born on September 20, 1923, near Beulah, ND, the daughter of Mike and Mary Keller. She grew up and attended school south of Beulah. On September 20, 1948, she married Amos Hoepfner in St. Benedict Church in rural Beulah. They farmed south of Beulah until 1971 when they moved to Bismarck. In 2007 she entered St. Vincent’s Care Center. She enjoyed watching Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and Price is Right, and playing cards with her kids and and grandkids. She loved to sew and quilt.Barbara is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Mary Kay and Rodney Weidner, Fargo, and Melinda Hoepfner, Bismarck; two grandchildren, Jeremy (Janine) Weidner, West Fargo, and Laura (Andrew) Job, Fergus Falls, MN; seven great-grandchildren, Brandon, Emily, Ethan, Isaac, Owen, Grace, Evanie; two brothers, Ralph Keller, Bismarck, and Francis Keller, Brandon, SD.She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos; her daughter, Rita; her parents; five brothers; and one sister.
