Barbara Holli, 84, Bismarck, passed away on Oct. 15, 2020 at St. Alexius, Bismarck. Funeral services will be held at a later date.
Barbara was born on June 8, 1936 to Henry and Dorothy (Parsons) Knapp. She was raised and educated in Ohio, graduating from Chardon High School.
She married Richard Johnston and the two lived in various places throughout his military career and job. He passed away in 1998 while they were living in Wessington, South Dakota.
Barbara met Arnold Holli while attending church meetings in Bismarck. They were married on Dec. 1, 2001. Together, they made their home in Bismarck.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints in Bismarck.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Arnold; children, Jeanette Quinton, Ida., Kathleen (Bud) Crocker, Ida., Anne Marie (Jim) Grosdanis, Ind., Richard (Susan) Johnston, Ind., and Barbara (Ron) Tuckett, Oreg.; stepchildren, Diane (John) Miller, Oreg., Doreen Loos, Hawaii, Daniel (Arlene) Holli, Dickinson, Denise Holli, Grand Forks; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Ann) Knapp, Ill.; sister, Nancy (Charles) Jantz, Fla; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and stepdaughter, Debbie Holli.
Barbara will be buried in Indiana with her husband, Richard. She suggested that in lieu of flowers, food items may be donated to your local food bank.
A wake will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2930 Cody Dr, Bismarck.
