Beverly Mathys, 35, Wilton, died April 8, 2017, surrounded by her family. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, April 15, at Sunne Lutheran Church, Wilton, with Rev. Paul Schauer officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Friday, April 14, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, where family memories will begin at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at the Sunne Lutheran Cemetery, Wilton. Beverly was born September 9, 1981, in Beaumont, TX, the daughter of LeRoy Slater Sr. and Mary Simpson. She graduated salutatorian from Rosebud High School in 2000. While in high school she was involved in choir, band, basketball, and FFA. After leaving Rosebud, MT, Bev moved to Tuttle, ND. Bev met Cliff Mathys in September 2005, instantly fell in love, and the couple were married on December 10, 2015. One of Bev’s dreams was to be a mother and have a large family. She had five beautiful children. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, camping, and fairy gardens. She was always taking her children, nieces, and nephews hunting for night crawlers and frogs. Prior to becoming a stay-at-home mother and wife, Bev worked with Pride in Bismarck and Wilton. Bev is survived by her husband, Cliff Mathys, Wilton; her children, Izabelle Faith, Victoria Ann, Sophia Aria, Evangalina Jo, and Aaron DeForrest; her parents, George and Mary (Lager) Simpson, and LeRoy Slater Sr.; her siblings, Duffer (Kristi) Slater, Annette (Scott) Ungefucht, Duane (Irma) Simpson, Jenny Simpson, Jami (Andy) Jamgochian, Sasha Calavera (Sean Oveson), Aaron (Anna) Mathys, and Merrilee (Kevin) Dawson; mother-in-law, Cindy Mathys; numerous beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and very special friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ed and Fran Lager; paternal grandparents, Gordon and Donna Mae Slater; brothers, Justin Simpson and Dustin Hoebelheinrich; aunt, Bonnie (Lager) Carrells; and father-in-law, Mark Mathys.
