Blanche Elizabeth Sayler was born on September 30, 1949, in Wishek N.D. to Edwin and Lydia Sayler.  She graduated from Lehr High School in 1967.  After graduation she married her high school sweetheart Jim Nagel.   She supported Jim during his service in the military with assignments in Alabama and North Carolina.  During this time, she was blessed with two children: Lisa & Brady.  The family returned to North Dakota and in 1978 set down roots in Bismarck.  She graduated from vocational school and became an administrative assistant for Montana Dakota Utilities (MDU).  She proceeded to work at MDU for 25 years until her retirement in 2004.  She enjoyed life to the fullest and had a passion for building strong relationships; always putting others’ needs in front of her own.  She was a caring, kind soul, that valued family, friends, and fun!   In 2007 Jim & Blanche purchased the Stoney Hill RV Park in Garrison and built their retirement home on the property.  During the next 10 years, she created so many joyous memories; filled with laughter and plenty of fun for her grandchildren, children, family, and friends!!  One of the things she found most enjoyable was spending the summers and Christmas with her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed gardening, and taking her dogs; Trixie, Gunner, and J.J. on daily walks.

After Jims passing in 2016, she continued to run the campground.  The following year, she sold the property and moved to Bismarck.  She became a member of Legacy Methodist Church, where she volunteered her time, continuing her faith journey, while creating new friendships and happiness for others.

She is survived by daughter, Lisa (Jim Schroeder) San Antonio, TX; son, Brady (Cara Nagel) Eau Claire, WI; three grandchildren, Cassandra Schroeder (Todd Schoemake), Cody Schroeder (Tabatha), Lauren Nagel;  sisters, Della (Delmer) Schilling, Evangeline Ketterling, Linda Mossett; brother, Jim (Crystal) Sayler; mother-in-law, Patti Nagel; seven nephews and three nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin & Lydia Sayler; sister, Norma (Barry) Peterson; brothers-in-law, Barry Peterson, Andrew Mossett, Walter Ketterling; mother-in-law, Elda Erbele; fathers-in-law, Teddy Erbele and Harry Nagel; and nephew, Dallas Peterson.
